Overview
If you've ever wondered whether offering superbills is worth the extra step — or how to actually generate one without adding hours of admin to your week, this webinar is for you.
Physical therapist and business coach Alison McLean walks you through the business case for offering superbills as part of a cash-based or hybrid practice: how to talk with patients about paying out of pocket without excluding the people who rely on insurance reimbursement, and how superbills support trust and retention in a cash-pay model. Embodia co-founder Maggie Bergeron then walks you through generating a superbill directly in Embodia, so you leave with both the reasoning and the exact steps.
Learning Objectives
Following this session, you will walk away knowing how to:
- Offer superbills without re-entangling yourself with insurance — what they are, what they aren't, and the one sentence that protects you
- Answer "Do you take my insurance?" in three sentences that reframe instead of end the conversation
- Hand every patient the three questions that tell them exactly what they'll get back — before they commit
- Use superbills with telehealth to stop being capped by geography
- Set up diagnosis and procedure codes and generate a superbill live inside Embodia (walkthrough with Maggie)
